TOMODACHI J&J Disaster Nursing Training Program 2023 is now accepting participants and mentors!
This program aims to contribute to strengthening the overall foundation of disaster nursing in Japan by providing the next generation of nursing students with the skills and knowledge to respond to disasters and emergencies through training over a period of approximately 6 months and to spread their learning and give back to the community as future leaders in the field of disaster nursing. The program was launched in 2015, initially targeting nursing students from Iwate, Miyagi, and Fukushima prefectures affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake. Due to its success, we have expanded the scope of the program to include nursing students from all over Japan beginning in 2019.
