    Register Now for the TOMODACHI Generation Summit 2018

    The 2018 TOMODACHI Generation Summit will gather over 500 people from the United States and Japan who are alumni of various TOMODACHI programs. This Summit will be planned and executed by a core committee of eight alumni with support from various alumni as speakers, workshop facilitators, volunteers, and regional representatives; thus making the Summit a signature program of the TOMODACHI Alumni Leadership Program that is created by alumni, for alumni.

     

    Objectives:

    ・​S​trengthen the TOMODACHI Identity & Alumni Network

    ・​E​mpower the Next Generation by sharing motivational stories of impact by alumni

    ・​E​nhance personal & professional development through workshops and speeches

    ・​D​evelop connections across generations and highlight the power of people-to-people relations

    → Planting the SEEDs of leadership in the TOMODACHI Generation

     

    2018 TOMODACHI Summit Themes:

    The 2018 Summit Core Committee strongly believe that the TOMODACHI Generation can inspire fellow leaders within the United States and Japan, who will be the caretakers of these relationships in the years to come. In order to create impactful change from the ground up, this Summit will become an opportunity for students and young professionals to equally express their opinions with fellow global leaders to unlock their own potential towards the creation of a better world

    Venue: Showa Women’s University (Tokyo, Japan)

    Audience: Total: 500 attendees

    270 alumni from all over Japan and the United States (Last year: 190)

    100 guest speakers and supporters

    100 Public Tickets for non-TOMODACHI participants +30 staff and volunteers

    Language: English & Japanese

    Entrance Fee: Free

    Deadline: The application deadline has been extended to Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 23:59 Japan Standard Time
