TOMODACHI Alumni Only: 2014 English Language Study Program
The 2014 TOMODACHI Summer English Language Study Program is an intensive four week English language learning program for Japanese high school students who had participated in a TOMODACHI program in the past. Administered by AFS Intercultural Programs, Japan, students live on the Sandy Spring Friends School (SSFS) campus in a dormitory setting during the English language program, which also highlights history, government and global competencies. The program also includes off-campus afternoon and weekend excursions that reinforce English language usage and practice, such as dancing, music, sports, games, cooking projects, a Major League Baseball game, and visits to historic sites and museums.
