Recruiting Japanese students for the TOMODACHI MUFG International Exchange Program 2014
TOMODACHI Initiative and Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) have started recruiting Japanese students to participate in the 3rd TOMODACHI MUFG International Exchange Program!
The TOMODACHI MUFG International Exchange Program 2014 will select 26 junior high and high school students from the areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake (Iwate, Miyagi, and Fukushima prefectures) to participate in a two-week program to Los Angeles, California and the suburbs of Los Angeles.
During the program, students will live in a university dormitory, visit American corporations, and experience a homsetay. In addition, students will study English, learn leadership skills, and volunteer for community service projects. The program features extensive contact with Americans through academic programs, homestays, social and sightseeing activities, and exposure to American culture and values.
