TOMODACHI-SCORE! Study Tour

On June 22, 2013, Ambassador Roos met with students at the Okinawa Consul General’s residence during his recent visit to attend the Memorial Ceremony commemorating the end of the Battle of Okinawa. 

The students and Ambassador Roos discussed the upcoming TOMODACHI-SCORE! Study Tour to Silicon Valley, California, as well as study abroad outreach activities that are happening in the outer islands.  

The Ambassador thanked the students for playing a key role in increasing the number of Japanese students studying in the United States.
