TOMODACHI Summer 2013 English Language Study Program
On June 14, 2013, U.S. Ambassador to Japan John Roos met with high school students who will participate in TOMODACHI Summer 2013 English Language Program at the U.S. Embassy in Tokyo. After the conversation with the Ambassador, Shengjie Fang, a student at Aizugakuho Senior High School and Sakino Onodera, a student at Ichinoseki Daiichi Senior High School made speeches. Shengjie said “Through this program, I want to learn about American culture and share the current situation of my hometown.” Sakino said, “I would like to be a Journalist in the future and convey our message to the world from Tohoku region.”
