Announcing the New Regional Leaders of the TOMODACHI Regional Framework for 2021!
Fourteen Regional Leaders and Regional Mentors, all alumni of various TOMODACHI programs – with support from the U.S. Embassy and Consulates across Japan – will lead the TOMODACHI Generation by creating opportunities for alumni to connect in each region and tackle various challenges together. The TOMODACHI Generation Regional Framework will support alumni engagement by furthering opportunities for alumni to connect with, empower, and inspire one another in their respective regions across Japan.
New Regional leaders:
Hokkaido: Hiromi Waragai (supported by Regional Mentor: Nanako Saito)
Tohoku: Saaya Toyoda (supported by Regional Mentor: Shoko Tomita)
Kanto: Sawa Shimokawa (supported by Regional Mentor: Kenji Negi)
Chubu-Hokuriku: Mami Kimura (supported by Regional Mentor: Natsumi Mishio)
Kansai-Chugoku-Shikoku: Maho Kitano (supported by Regional Mentor: Yumiko Kurii)
Kyushu: Haruka Kurosawa (supported by Regional Mentor: Taito Kameishi)
Okinawa: Reo Shimabuku (supported by Regional Mentor: Ayano Tohaku)
