Washington D.C. Regional Event Report
On August 21st, Five DC TOMODACHI Alumni gathered for DC Restaurant Week at Daikaya Izakaya. Restaurant Week is a promotional event found in cities all over the country where restaurants offer special fixed-prices menus for a limited time. Diners are able to try more expensive restaurants at a lower price, try new menu items, and restaurants get more visibility. Alumni enjoyed getting to catch up over delicious Japanese food while supporting a local business.
