    Announcing the Moderator and Panelists for the TOMODACHI Alumni “Visionary Voices” at the TOMODACHI Next Generation Summit 2024

    Visionary Voices

    n Visionary Voices, TOMODACHI alumni will present their ideas for incorporating principles into new and emerging industries, as well as their thoughts on how traditional businesses can adapt to the rapidly changing needs of the emerging generation.

    Moderator

    Nakamura, Tsuyako

    Tsuyako Nakamura is a tenured professor at Doshisha University, specializing in women’s labor issues in the U.S. and Japan. She has worked as a conference interpreter, completed a Ph.D. in American Studies, and published several books on work-life integration and women’s employment policies.

     

    Below are the panelists:

     

    Masunaga, Riley

    Born and raised in Hawaii, Riley Masunaga participated in the TOMODACHI KAKEHASHI Inouye Scholars Program in 2015. He now works in HR data analytics, program management, and product management at Mercari, while also mentoring and hosting educational events.

    Hara, Shiori

    Shiori Hara, an alumna of the 2018 TOMODACHI MUFG International Exchange Program, is currently a Core Committee member for the TOMODACHI Alumni Tohoku Region. She studies Philosophy at Sophia University and is passionate about Western philosophical thought and the arts.

    Park, Sunwoo

    Park Sunwoo, an alumnus of the 2022 TOMODACHI Boeing Entrepreneurship Seminar, co-founded the startup Deepreneur and supports major projects as a presidential intern at Matsuo Lab. In 2024, he was selected as the youngest member of SoftBank Academia and will begin his studies at Waseda University.
