    TOMO-KIN Spring 2024

    DSC00424

On March 18, 2024, approximately 30 TOMODACHI alumni participated in the TOMO-KIN Spring 2024. Thanks to the generous offer of Appaman Co., Ltd., the number of participants has been increased and the event time has been extended from the previously 1 hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours, using the new venue, fabbit Marunouchi Conference Room, making it an even more powerful TOMO-KIN event.

The guest speaker was Mr. Masaharu Kohno, former Japan diplomat and State Minister for Foreign Affairs. Mr. Kohno concluded his lecture with three powerful messages, “1) Get out of the office and meet various people, 2): Participate in various events and seminars. and 3) Don’t be afraid to take risks.”

Next, we had a speed networking-style icebreaker, where the paired alumni asked topic-related questions for 3 minutes to get to know each other.

Warai Musubi has been the caterer for TOMO-KIN for some time now, and this TOMO-KIN was not an exception. 10 kinds of unique Omusubi were provided based on the themes of “spring” and “travel.” The participants had a hard time deciding which Omusubi to eat.
Alumni participant Shotaro Kurata said, “I participated in an alumni event for the first time after transferring to Tokyo (from Fukuoka), and I had a very meaningful time.”
