TOMODACHI Initiative Hosts Summer Welcoming Reception in Tokyo for Donors and Partners
On the evening of July 1, 2015, TOMODACHI Initiative started the month off with a Summer Welcoming in Tokyo. The event was attended by many donors and partners who support the initiative with their generous donations and their passion to help cultivate a stronger relationship between the United States and Japan.
The event commenced with an introduction of our newly instated Executive Director, Marc Lassman, by Marrie Schaefer from the U.S. Embassy Tokyo, followed by staff introductions and announcements before the attendees engaged in a lively networking session. The night highlighted TOMODACHI’s gratitude for the donors’ support as well as the renewal of our commitment to continue fulfilling our vision to create a TOMODACHI Generation committed to the future of U.S.-Japan relations.
