On February 8, 2014, participants of the TOMODACHI MUFG 2013 International Exchange Program were invited to a reunion and the screening of the television program featuring their trip to Japan last year.  The Japanese television program, entitled “Gift for the Future,” was aired in Japan nationwide late last year.  English subtitles were added to this show so that the students and their families were able to watch and understand its content.  

The Los Angeles office of the Japan Foundation generously offered its auditorium, its surrounding areas in the office as well as parking validation for everyone for this event free of charge.  The auditorium was filled with approximately 100 students and their families and Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) hosted a wonderful Japanese lunch for everyone.  

The students had an emotional reunion where they reminisced special moments they had shared during their trip to Japan.
