TOMODACHI Del Norte High School 2014 Delegation to Rikuzentakata
A small boat belonging to Takata High School in Rikuzentakata washed up on the shores of Crescent City, California (USA) in April, 2013. Students from Del Norte High School in Crescent City created a project to return the boat to Takata High School. The boat was returned to Rikuzentakata in September, 2013.
Six students from Del Norte High School will visit Rikuzentakata and Takata High School from February 17th through the 19th, 2014. We welcome coverage of their thoughtfulness, initiative, and leadership as they get to know students in Rikuzentakata.
