TOMODACHI Women’s Leadership Program – Kansai
On November 12, 2013, the second session of the TOMODACHI Women’s Leadership Program – Kansai was held at the Osaka Innovation Hub in downtown Osaka.
Facilitator Elizabeth from Lumina Learning led the session with a discussion of the best ways to take advantage of the mentor/mentee relationship, then continued with an introduction to “Lumina Spark Profile,” an individualized personality and leadership style analysis created for each participant in the program.
Participants learned how to recognize their own personality traits and strengths and how to make best use of their strengths in becoming a better leader. Small group exercises gave mentors and mentees additional opportunities to get to know one another and incorporate the new self-awareness gained through discussion of their profiles into their mentoring relationships.
