The TOMODACHI-U.S. Embassy Go for Gold Sports Leadership Program for Japanese Undergraduate students seeking careers in the sports industry is open for application now. The program will provide Japanese university students the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the field of sports management through a study tour in the United States and through leadership training. It was established to complement the ongoing “Go for Gold” initiative, U.S.Embassy’s school outreach campaign pairing school visits with excitement for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The virtual program, two-week travel to the United States, and a final presentation in Tokyo, Japan are the three components of the program.

Application Deadline Extended to October 7, 2022.
