Announcing the 2018 TOMODACHI Alumni Regional Leaders!

The 2018 TOMODACHI Alumni Regional Leaders have been selected!

The 16 Regional Leaders, with support from nine Regional Mentors, the U.S. Embassy, and Consulates across Japan, will lead the TOMODACHI Generation in each region in Japan. The TOMODACHI Generation Regional Framework will support alumni engagement by furthering opportunities for alumni to connect with, empower, and inspire one another in their respective regions.

In response to feedback on the framework, the Alumni Regional Leaders will not only connect alumni, but also provide them the resources to organize and conduct new events and opportunities by themselves in their communities.

This leadership training program helps alumni learn about project management, financial planning, marketing and social media, networking skills, presentation skills, mentorship and applied leadership. The program provides hands-on training throughout the year to help the alumni grow into stronger, more confident leaders who will bring positive change to their communities.
