TOMODACHI Donors Attend 4th of July Celebration at Ambassador Roos’ Residence

“America the Beautiful” was the theme for the Independence Day party that took place at the Ambassador’s residence on the 4th of July 2013. Many TOMODACHI donors attended the party to celebrate Independence Day.  One of the popular events included the stamp rally, where guests obtained stamps from the historic North East, the comfort charm of the South, the soul of America in the Heartland, and the adventure of the Western Frontier.  The guests collected stamps from each of these regions.  Once the stamps were collected and the stamp rally was completed, guests received their prize from the TOMODACHI booth, which was staffed by employees of the TOMODACHI Initiative.
